Help Bring an Original Illustrated Project to Life
Hey there!
My name is steve and we’re a team of two trying to bring original illustrated mangas to life, but the cost of creating and presenting a professional project is becoming harder to carry alone.
Between script developmental editing, illustration software costs, web hosting, domains, submission fees, and preparing professional pitch materials, every step adds up quickly.
Our goal is to complete at least two full manga volumes and submit them to as many publishers and competitions as possible to maximize our chances of being noticed. We are not relying on a single opportunity. We are actively submitting to multiple manga competitions, publishers, and global platforms in hopes of finding the right breakthrough.
Some of these competitions also offer career-changing prize opportunities that could help fund future volumes and place our work in front of an international audience.
We don’t have a fixed donation goal because no matter how much support we receive, we’ll make it work and continue building this project step by step.

What Is a Manga?
Mangas are illustrated stories told through artwork and dialogue, similar to graphic novels or visual novels. They combine cinematic storytelling, expressive art, and written narrative to create immersive stories across many genres, including adventure, drama, mystery, fantasy, and science fiction. Originating from Japan, manga is a distinct artistic and storytelling style that has grown into a global medium with audiences around the world and is enjoyed by people of all ages.
About Me
Hey there!
My name is Steve, I’m a young visual storyteller and creative based in Kenya, currently developing a professional illustrated story projects (Manga) for international submissions and competitions. My goal is to create meaningful stories that combine strong visual art with emotional and imaginative storytelling while building a long-term career in creative publishing.
This crowdfunding is helping support the completion of the project, including artwork production, softwares, script developmental editing, purchase of the necessary domains, materials, and submission preparation. Every contribution directly helps move the project closer to completion and gives me the opportunity to continue developing my skills and share original stories with a wider audience.

Why This Project Matters
This projects are deeply important to us because storytelling has always been more than entertainment, it is a way to express emotion, imagination, struggle, hope, and identity. Many young creatives have ideas and stories they wish they could share with the world, but very few ever get the opportunity or support to take those ideas beyond sketches and notebooks.
Our aim is not only local publications and competitions, which I'm certain we'd win, but also international stages and audiences. More than just completing a submission, this project represents growth, persistence, and the belief that creative dreams deserve a real chance to exist beyond imagination.
